Article 1 Application of these Terms and Conditions
  1. Contracts for accommodation and related agreements made between the Hotel and a Guest shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions, and any matters not provided herein shall be subject to laws and regulations and generally accepted practices.
  2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may accept a special condition to the extent not contrary to the purport of these Terms and Conditions, laws and regulations, and common practices.
Article 2 Application for Accommodation Contract
  1. A Guest who applies for an accommodation contract with the Hotel shall notify the Hotel of the following information:
    1. Name, age, sex, address and occupation of the Guest
    2. Date of lodging and scheduled time of arrival
    3. Other information deemed necessary by the Hotel (including whether or not a parking lot is used)
  2. If a Guest requests, during his/her stay, to extend his/her stay beyond the lodging date specified in item (2) of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall, at the time of such request, regard and treat it as application for a new accommodation contract.
Article 3 Formation of Accommodation Contract and Deposit
  1. When an accommodation contract is made under the preceding article, a Guest may be requested to pay a deposit (advance) at an amount up to the lodging charges for the stay period (or those for three days when the stay exceeds three days).
  2. The deposit shall be first appropriated for the lodging charges to be paid by the Guest finally, secondly for a penalty specified in Article 5 where Article 5 is applicable, and thirdly, where Article 18 is applicable, for reparations after a penalty; the remainder, if any, shall be refunded at the time of payment of charges under Article 10.
Article 4 Refusal to Accommodate Guest

The Hotel may refuse to accept an accommodation contract in any of the following cases:

  1. When application for accommodation does not conform to these Terms and Conditions
  2. When the Hotel is fully booked and there is no vacancy
  3. When the Hotel deems that an applicant is likely to engage, in relation to his/her stay, in any conduct that is in violation of legislation or contrary to the public order or good morals
  4. When applicant(s) is(are) a designated organized crime group, member(s) or related party(ies) thereof under the Act for the Prevention of Wrongful Acts by Members of Organized Crime Groups (enforced on March 1, 1992)
  5. When an applicant is clearly a carrier of an infectious disease
  6. When an applicant demands a special burden from the Hotel in connection with accommodation
  7. When the Hotel is unable to accommodate the Guest due to a natural disaster, failure of facilities or other compelling reasons
Article 5 Cancellation of Accommodation Contract -1
  1. If an applicant for an accommodation contract cancels his/her contract in whole or in part, the Hotel shall charge a penalty under Article 6 "Guest's Right to Cancel Contract."
  2. If a Guest fails to arrive by 8 p.m. on the lodging date without notice, the Hotel may deem it as cancellation by the Guest of his/her accommodation contract and handle the matter accordingly. (Or by the time when two hours have elapsed from a scheduled time of arrival if such is specified in advance.)
  3. In case of deemed cancellation under the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall not charge a penalty under paragraph 1 if the Guest proves that his/her failure to arrive without notice has been caused by reasons not attributable to him/her, including non-arrival or delay of a train, plane, or other public transportation.
Cancellation of Accommodation Contract -2
  1. In addition to those provided otherwise, the Hotel may cancel an accommodation contract, in any of the following cases:
    (1)If any of items (3) to (6) of Article 4 is applicable
    (2)If a Guest fails to pay by the due date any deposit that may be requested under paragraph 1 of Article 3
  2. In case of cancellation of an accommodation contract under the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall refund any deposit that may have already been received for the reservation.
Article 6 Guest's Right to Cancel Contract
A person with a reservation may cancel his/her accommodation contract by notifying the Hotel.
  1. If a person with a reservation cancels his/her an accommodation contract in whole or in part for reasons attributable to the person, the Hotel shall charge a penalty in accordance with Schedule 1.
  2. If a person with a reservation fails to arrive without notice by 8 p.m. (or by the time when 2 hours have elapsed from a scheduled time of arrival, if such is specified) on the lodging date, the Hotel may deem it as cancellation by the person with a reservation of his/her accommodation contract and handle the matter accordingly.
  3. The Hotel shall not charge a penalty under paragraph 2 if the person with a reservation proves that such cancellation of his/her accommodation contract has been caused by reasons not attributable to him/her, including non-arrival or delay of a train, plane, or other public transportation.
Article 7 Registration of Lodging
  1. On the lodging date, a Guest shall register the following information at the front desk of the Hotel:
    1. Name, age, sex, address and occupation of the Guest
    2. Nationality, passport number, place and date of entry in Japan (in the case of a foreign national)
    3. Date and scheduled time of departure
    4. Other information deemed necessary by the Hotel
  2. If a Guest intends to pay his/her charges under Article 10 by any means other than the currency including lodging coupons or credit cards, the Guest shall present them in advance at the time of registration under the preceding paragraph.
Article 8 Usage Hours of Guest Room
  1. A Guest is entitled to use his/her room from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival to 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. However, if a Guest lodges in the room continuously, he/she may use the guest room all day, except for the days of arrival and departure.
  2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may accept a Guest's request for use of the guest room beyond the hours specified in the same paragraph. In this case, extension charges shall apply as set forth in Schedule 2.
Article 9 Business Hours
  1. The main facilities of the Hotel shall be open during the following hours, and the business hours of other facilities shall be announced in detail by brochures provided by the Hotel, notices displayed in places, the Guide to the Hotel in guest rooms, and other means.
    1. Front desk: 24 hours
  2. The business hours specified in the preceding paragraph are subject to a temporary change under unavoidable circumstances. In this case, a Guest shall be informed by appropriate means.
Article 10 Payment of Charges
  1. The breakdown of a lodging charge, etc., to be paid by a Guest shall be as specified in Schedule 1 "Breakdown of Room Charges."
  2. A Guest shall pay lodging charges, etc., as specified in the preceding paragraph at the front desk at the time of his/her departure or at the request of the Hotel by the currency or lodging coupons, credit cards, or other equivalent means approved by the Hotel.
  3. A Guest is obliged to pay lodging charges if the Guest has not lodged at his/her convenience after the Hotel had provided him/her with a guest room, and it had become available.
Article 11 Compliance with Use Rules
In the Hotel, a Guest must comply with the use rules prescribed by and posted in the Hotel.
Article 12 Refusal to Continue Accommodating

Even during a stay period accepted by the Hotel, it may refuse to continue accommodating a Guest in any of the following cases:

  1. If any of items (iii) to (vi) of Article 4 is applicable
  2. If a Guest does not observe the use rules specified in the preceding article
Article 13 Responsibility for Accommodation
  1. The Hotel's responsibility for accommodation shall commence when a Guest makes registration for lodging at the front desk of the Hotel and shall end when the Guest vacates his/her room for departure.
  2. The Hotel shall compensate for any damage that the Hotel may cause to a Guest in performing an accommodation contract and other agreements related thereto or because it fails to perform those contracts. However, this does not apply where it arises from reasons not attributable to the Hotel.
  3. The Hotel has taken out liability insurance in preparation for fires or any other rare accidents.
Article 14 Treatment when Contracted Room Is Unavailable
  1. When unable to provide a Guest with the guest room contracted, the Hotel shall, with the consent of the Guest, arrange other accommodations on the same conditions to the extent possible.
  2. If the Hotel fails to arrange other accommodations notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall pay the Guest a compensation fee at the amount equivalent to a penalty, and such compensation fee shall be appropriated for the amount of damages. However, the Hotel shall not pay a compensation fee if there is no reason attributable to the Hotel with respect to its inability to provide the guest room.
Article 15 Handling of Valuables and Deposited Articles

The front desk of the Hotel shall not keep any valuables or cash for a Guest.

  1. The Hotel shall under no circumstances keep any articles *(except the case of Article 16, paragraph 1), or cash or valuables for a Guest.
    Please keep your valuables and cash on your responsibility.
  2. If luggage or personal effects are found in the Hotel, which have been left by a Guest who has checked out, and the owner thereof is identified, the Hotel shall notify and request instructions from the owner. However, if the owner gives no instructions or is not identified, the Hotel shall keep them for seven days (including the day on which they are found) and shall report them to the nearest police station.
  3. Regarding the Hotel's responsibility for the custody of a Guest's luggage or personal effects under the preceding two paragraphs, the provisions of paragraph 1 of the preceding article apply to the immediately preceding paragraph 1, and the provisions of paragraph 2 of the said article apply to the immediately preceding paragraph.
Article 16 Custody of Luggage and Personal Effects
  1. When a Guest's luggage arrives at the Hotel prior to his/her lodging, the Hotel shall keep it on its responsibility (on the condition that it does not contain any valuables) to the extent that the Hotel gives its consent prior to such arrival and shall hand it over to the Guest at the front desk when he/she checks in.
  2. If luggage or personal effects are found in the Hotel, which have been left by a Guest who has checked out, and the owner thereof is identified, the Hotel shall notify and request instructions from the owner. However, if the owner gives no instructions or is not identified, the Hotel shall keep them for seven days (including the day on which they are found), and shall report them to the nearest police station.
  3. Regarding the Hotel's responsibility for the custody of a Guest's luggage or personal effects under the preceding two paragraphs, the provisions of paragraph 1 of the preceding article apply to the immediately preceding paragraph 1, and the provisions of paragraph 2 of the said article apply to the immediately preceding paragraph.
Article 17 Responsibility for Parking
When a Guest uses the parking lot of the Hotel, the Hotel only allows the use of the parking lot and shall not be responsible for the management of the car, regardless of whether or not the key to the car is deposited.
Article 18 Guest's Responsibility
If the Hotel incurs damage due to a Guest's intentional act or negligence, the Guest may be requested to compensate the Hotel for such damage.
Article 19 Information Management Incidental to Enactment of the Personal Information Protection Act
  1. On disclosure of personal information
    The Hotel shall not disclose your personal information without your consent. However, the Hotel may disclose information without your consent if disclosure is required under laws and regulations or by public agencies.
  2. On in-house education
    The Hotel manages personal information by providing our employees with education for the protection of it.
